Community Fridge — free food for the Llanddulas community

Community Fridge

Free food for everyone in our community

Our Community Fridge is open to all — no questions asked. Take what you need, donate what you can, and help us reduce food waste in Llanddulas.

What is the Community Fridge?

Good food, shared freely

The Llanddulas Community Fridge is a shared space where surplus food — fresh, chilled, and ambient — is made available free of charge to anyone in the local community. There are no eligibility checks, no referrals, and no means testing. If you need it, it's yours.

Run by volunteers from Llanddulas Youth Club CIO, the fridge helps tackle food waste and food insecurity at the same time. Supermarkets, local businesses, and individuals donate food that would otherwise go to waste, and we make sure it reaches people who can use it.

The Community Fridge is part of a growing national movement to build stronger, more resilient communities — and we're proud to bring it to Llanddulas.

Take as much as you need. There are no limits and no judgement — the fridge is here for everyone.

Donate if you can

If you have surplus food at home — unopened, in date, and safe to eat — please bring it along. Every donation helps.
